The Leopards scored a 46-6 win after beating the Valke in Potchefstroom last weekend to ensure they remain unbeaten after two rounds of action.

The team from North West province found their Limpopo opponents a tough nut to crack in the first half, with a slender 15-5 lead at the break, with the visitors dotting down three times in the first half.

The second was a one-sided affair though, as the greater fitness from the Leopards proved decisive, and they added another five tries to their tally without conceding one. Their backline again played well, with five different players getting across the whitewash.

The Valke used their forward pack to great effect in their match against Pumas in Nigel. Using their weight and height advantage up front, they pummeled the team from Mpumalanga into submission. The halftime lead of 29-0 soon expanded and it become a one horse race in the second half.

Both the Valke and Leopards will enjoy a break this weekend, with Limpopo and the Pumas meeting in the only game of the northern pool.

The remaining teams in the competition will be in action for the first time as the teams in the southern section start their campaigns.

Free State will host the Griffons in Bloemfontein and in George, the SWD Eagirls will start their campaign against Griquas.
