The men from Johannesburg depart on their tour of Australasia on Saturday 22 February. Included in the tour squad are the experienced forward duo of Springboks Jannie du Plessis and Willem Alberts, while Elton Jantjies will lead the team on their trip.
In Australia, they will face the Waratahs in Sydney (28 February) and Rebels in Melbourne (7 March) before heading over to New Zealand for matches against the Blues in Auckland (14 March) and Hughlanders in Dunedin (21 March).
Last year, the Emirates Lions beat the Chiefs in Hamilton, but lost to the Crusaders and Brumbies on tour Down Under.
