And in an unfortunate development, one of the buses that was part of the Cape Town leg of the Trophy Tour, picked up some technical problems and broke down on the route.
City Sightseeing, the company who runs the Open Top Red Buses in Cape Town, saved the day when they found themselves in a position help the Boks continue on their amazing victory parade of Cape Town.
After one of the buses - hired by the organisers from a third party - broke down on the route on Monday, the staff of the Red Bus were happy to welcome the members of the Bok squad and their families onto the iconic Red Bus and the green open top buses City Sightseeing made available for the day.
The Trophy Tour was then able to continue on without incident to Langa, Belhar, Ravensmead and Elsies River where the Boks delighted a very excited and jubilant crowd.
