The Under-16 and Under-18 SA Rugby Girls Weeks kick off on Monday at Jeppe High School in Johannesburg. Also starting on Monday is the LSEN Week, which this year will be hosted at HS Sentraal in Bloemfontein until Friday.
The most promising young girls talent will showcase their skills at the annual events and both tournaments have grown in stature over the last few years as the game continue to grow amongst young female players.
Interestingly, the Griffons U18-team will be represented by three sets of twins at the weeklong festival of girls rugby at Jeppe. They are Tlalane and Tlalage Rapiletse, Bianca and Danele Schutte as well as Modjadji and Mmadjadi Mohali.
The trio of twins will be in action during the opening day’s action, which will feature eight games.
A total of seven games have been scheduled on the first match day of the LSEN Week in Bloemfontein.
